THE HIMALAYAS

The Himalayas:


The Himalayas are in the North of India.
They are snowy throughout the year.
That is why Nort India cooler than South India.

Himalayan Mountain Region:

The himalayas are the highest moutain regions of the world.
Many rivers originate here.
They get the water from the melted snow.
Mount Everest, the highest peak  in the world, lies in Himalayas.
The lower slopes of the Himalayas have dense forests.
the Himalayas form the crown of India!

The Gangetic plain:

The Gangetic plain lies at the foot of the Himalayas.
It is a fertile land and good for agriculture.
The rivers, which originate from the Himalayas...
flow in to the slopes of North India.
They are... the Ganges, Satluj, the Yamuna,
and the Brahmaputra.
These, along with their tributaries,
make the land fertile.




Incredable India! Incredable Himalayan Mountain!!
